Author Guidelines for Al-Ma'had: Jurnal Ilmiah Kepesantrenan
TITLE: The title of the article should describe the content and be written in English or Arabic with a maximum of 14 words. The title should be centered and use Cambria font with a font size of 11pt. The title should be in capital letters, and there should be one line space between the title and the author's names.
SUB-TITLE: If applicable, the sub-title should be written using Title Case and follow the same guidelines as the title.
AUTHOR INFORMATION: The author's names should be listed, followed by their institution affiliation, address, and email address. The font size for author information is 10pt. The WhatsApp number of the first author should also be included.
ABSTRACT: The abstract should be between 100 and 150 words and consist of the aim, methodology, essential findings, and conclusions. The abstract should be presented in Cambria font with a font size of 10pt.
KEYWORDS: The keywords should consist of 3 to 6 words or phrases and be presented in Cambria font with a font size of 11pt for body text.
INTRODUCTION: The introduction should be bold, with a font size of 11pt and a spacing before of 12pt and a spacing after of 6pt. It should contain the background, literature review, and research objectives. The article should follow an essay format and have section titles in bold. Sub-section labels should be in bold and italic. Numerals may not be used in section or sub-section titles but can be used for description purposes.
REFERRAL AND CITATION: Referral and citation should use in-note (in-text citation), not endnotes or footnotes. The author's name and year of publication should be included in parentheses for direct and indirect quotations. If citing the Qur'an, the citation should be in Arabic and presented in Cambria font with a font size of 10pt.
RESEARCH METHOD: The research method section should include the study/research types, data sources, data collection techniques, research instruments, population and samples, and processing techniques and data analysis. The section title should be bold, with a font size of 11pt, and a spacing before of 12pt and a spacing after of 6pt.
BIBLIOGRAPHY: The bibliography should be presented in alphabetical order and use APA (American Psychological Association, the 6th edition) citation style.
